Yesterday was the first day of Winter. We spent the morning at the park, and it felt so nice. The kids ran around a lot and actually got hot :) On the way home from the park, Avery asked if the pool was open. I told her that we could get into our neighborhood pool, but it would be REALLY cold. She really wanted to go swimming, and I've tried to take an "they are only kids once" attitude these days. So, I told her I would find our old kiddie pool and see what we could do!
After rest time she was so excited and we headed out to the "pool"! These pictures crack me up! My kids look so huge in this little pool and I can't believe they got soaking wet in December! Again I just caught pictures on my phone and stopped when the water starting flying- so I just have some beginning pictures to share.
Good news is it felt like Fall today- good thing since we are headed to Park City in a few days :)
