This year for Christmas my family took a trip to Park City, Utah. We have been planning this trip for well over a year, so I couldn't believe when the day finally arrived that we were on our way! Instead of exchanging gifts this year, we created memories! We had a wonderful trip, and many memories were made.
The kids LOVED playing in the snow. Being from Texas, just getting ready seemed like a chore. But the reward was well worth all the work of bundling up! The Dads built tunnels and slides in the snow near our house. The kids played out there for hours! We had to take turns supervising since we were not being quite as active (well the Dads did stay warm shoveling and making new adventures for the kids!).

What would a trip to a winter wonderland be without Hot Coco?! Thanks, Papa, for a coco break :)
The girls attended Ski School and had a ball! Avery has asked multiple times when we are going back :) Many of these pictures crack me up. Especially the ones where multiple kids are sprawled out in the school calling for HELP!

We took all the kids to a tubing hill one day, and of course this was a huge hit. We played in "Fort Frosty" where there is a tubing carousel and a few small tubing hills. The kids got a good workout, which is always a plus!

One last event I'll share is pictures from our sleigh ride. The whole gang (all 13 of us) went on this ride together, and it was so fun singing and riding together as a family.

| She was not so sure about this! Her eyes were HUGE when he put her on the horse! |
We are so blessed to have a loving, fun, caring family. The entire trip was a success, and I hope we will plan more family memory trips at Christmas so I can avoid trying to figure out what gifts to buy. The memories we made are priceless, and no one missed the gifts!
